It all came down to a one lap shootout to determine the winner of the Mattera’s Electrical and General Contracting Modified “Topless” 35 feature at Big Diamond and when it was over it was the track’s all-time winner Craig Von Dohren standing in victory lane to collect the $5,000 first place prize.
“I’m not a real big fan of having double file restarts with one lap to go, I don’t think that’s right but tonight we were able to benefit from it. Its a gamble of who goes first and gets the jump. I think it was kind of even there. We were back and forth there playing cat and mouse it is what it is I guess.”
